Bio
Alexander Guizzetti was born in Michigan and attended elementary school through college in Wisconsin. Guizzetti is now a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona. The path from the Midwest to the Southwest wasn't straightforward with a few setbacks along the way.
In 2008, Alexander Guizzetti started his college career in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on to double major in Business Management and Real Estate & Urban Economics. He added a certificate in Entrepreneurship to help guide him in developing the ideas he had while in his senior year of school. In May of 2012, Guizzetti graduated with his B.A. from UW-Madison.
His first company, RedEx Media, was created a few months after college. After a year and a half of development, RedEx launched its first website. Guizzetti employed bootstrap financing methods to turn RedEx into a now lucrative business that continues to experience rapid year-over-year growth to this day. Alexander Guizzetti continues to serve as the President of RedEx Media. Guizzetti mentioned, "It wasn't always peaches and cream and there was a time when financial reality set in along with significant doubts about whether I was on the right path."
Guizzetti briefly stepped away from his entrepreneurial lifestyle when he then took a job with The Vanguard Group in 2014. This job is what initially brought him to move to Arizona and allowed him to start paying down his student loans. He passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 exams while with Vanguard. Guizzetti quickly realized he was not about the 9 to 5 life which continues to serve as a motivator in his entrepreneurial endeavors. After a little over a year Guizzetti left The Vanguard Group, and continued to develop RedEx Media full-time. He hasn't looked back since.
In 2020, he launched 9d Ventures, a company with the goal of providing resources and capital to help startups get off the ground and scale. He is continually looking for unique ideas and entrepreneurs who would benefit from a capital injection and professional resources.
Living in Scottsdale for the past 7 years, Guizzetti enjoys the warm Arizona climate. In his downtime, he likes walking his yellow lab "Scooter", golfing, working out, hiking, motorcycling, and biking down the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt.
